about

"Can You Forgive?" is a very special album. It was created entirely during the Covid-19 pandemic. Many of the tracks were recorded remotely - musicians worked hard to track and contribute their parts in New York, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Ghana, and Moscow. I owe every musician on this record my deepest gratitude. This album was originally intended to be a partner to my previous release "For Flint". The tragedy that took place during the Flint water crisis will shake that community for generations to come, and those that have survived it can certainly all teach us a lesson in how to forgive. Even when someone has broken your body and torn your heart out, can you forgive?
